How to Play Sudoku Ball Detective
Quick start
Try Classic first to learn the sphere without story time penalties. Drag to face a useful area, choose an empty cell and write its value in the enlarged entry area. Check the flat overview and neighbouring groups before confirming. Once comfortable, enter Story and read each investigation task’s particular conditions.
Controls
Use the stylus to drag and rotate the ball and to enter handwritten numbers. The USA screen shows Clear and OK in the writing area for revising or confirming input. A new value replaces the cell’s previous entry; it is not a multi-number pencil-note system.
Sudoku Ball Detective — About this game
A retired detective’s visit to a friend turns into a murder case, and number puzzles provide the clues. Rotate a sphere to reach connected grids, filling cells while keeping the usual row, column and box constraints in mind. Story scenes change the pressure: locks limit mistakes, chases reward quick progress and laboratory puzzles make numbers disappear over time. Classic offers ball puzzles without those time penalties, and Standard Sudoku returns to a flat grid. DS input writes one value at a time rather than storing several candidate notes in a cell.
