How to Play Suikoden Tierkreis
Quick start
Begin a new game and follow the introduction to Citro Village. Use the blue save orb at the Gathering Spot, then visit the Town Square and accept Rajim's Get Rid of Eastern Laggarts mission. Choose Exit Village and cross Citro Plains toward Eastern Hill. In early fights, choose commands for the whole team, keep healing items ready and use the Gathering Spot to rest if you need to recover.
Controls
DS: D-pad moves the hero or menu cursor. A talks, examines, opens chests and confirms commands; B cancels or returns. Y opens the menu on field and world-map screens, but not the town destination menu. L/R changes the displayed character in equipment and status menus. In battle, choose each member's command and target before the round resolves; touch input is available in supported menus.

Suikoden Tierkreis starts with a village defence mission and grows into an adventure about changing worlds and the people who remember them. Recruiting allies expands the company, with some joining the fighting party and others providing services or helping through quests. Turn-based battles use a four-person team whose weapons, formation and abilities need to work together. Cooperative attacks reward particular combinations, while Marks of the Stars become an important source of special skills as the story develops. The early game is about learning to travel, equip and return safely before the larger recruitment network opens up. Exploring dialogue and side routes helps connect the campaign's many characters.
