Super Pitfall — About this game
Super Pitfall combines platforming with a search-and-return adventure. Harry must recover the Raj diamond, free Quickclaw using a hidden key and restore the petrified Rhonda with medicine. Completing those tasks is only part of the journey: he must also return to the starting point. Ladders, underwater passages and concealed transport points connect the caverns, while hostile creatures and lethal terrain make careless exploration costly. Many useful objects appear only when you jump at particular locations. Ammunition is limited, so evasion and crouching can matter as much as shooting. Keep track of junctions and discovered items rather than treating every new screen as another stage to rush through.
