How to Play Super Robot Wars A
Quick start
Select ``From the beginning'' in the title, then decide on the super type (left) or real type (right), the main character Axel (left) or Lamia (right), and the aircraft you want to fly. In the first episode, select the unit with A and enter "Move" → Destination → "Attack" → Weapon → Target. The real-life types stick together with Dragonar types 1-3, and support each other until the 3rd turn ally reinforcements. The super type flies the main character's aircraft adjacent to Getter, defeats 5 small fry, and reduces the enemy battleship's HP to the point where it can retreat.
Controls
Cross key: Cursor/menu movement. A: Open map menu with decision, unit selection, and empty space. B: Cancel/Go back. L/R: Switching between units and information screens. START: System/Map menu. SELECT: Information/overall display. For battle, select a unit with A, then select "Move" or "Attack" to select the destination, weapon, and target. Check the win/loss conditions from the menu by pressing A on an empty square, and end the phase after taking action.
