How to Play Super Robot Wars J

Quick start

Select "START" as the title, select the main character from Touya or Calvina, and choose the main character from among the three aircraft: Belzerut, Custowell, and Granted. If you select a sub-pilot and specify 3 favorite works, the upper limit for modification of the target aircraft will increase. The content of the first episode diverges depending on the main character. If it's Touya, Kouji and Sayaka will outsmart the enemy, and after the main character's machine joins, the initial troops and reinforcements in the south will be wiped out. If it's Calvina, use Akito to withstand the grasshoppers for 10 turns or annihilate them first, then defeat the eastern and western reinforcements after converging with Combattler V and Blue Earth.

Controls

Use the cross button to move the menu and tactical map cursor, and press A to confirm, select unit, move, weapon, and target. B cancels/returns to the previous screen, and also rereads the previous sentence during the event. After selecting a unit, select ``movement'', ``attack'', ``spirit'', etc., and when attacking, specify the weapon and enemy within range. L/R is used to switch between units, objectives, and information pages. After all units have taken action, choose to end the turn, save midway, or set the battle animation from the system menu in an empty square. The dedicated pause key could not be confirmed in the GBA materials.
