How to Play Super Rugby
Quick start
Select training with SELECT and confirm with START. Choose between 5 or 10 minutes for half time. In ability settings, press A to switch between items, and press up or down to adjust the values. During the game, use the cross keys to move, select the person you want to pass to with A when attacking, and pass with B. It is a violation to throw in the direction of the opponent's goal, so you should get used to passing backwards.
Controls
D-pad: Move in 8 directions. When attacking, press A to select the person to pass to, and press B to pass. When defending, press A to select the tackle, and press B to select the player to control. Pressing A+B at the same time is a punt/free kick. In a scrum, players hit A and B repeatedly according to the signal. At the lineout, A throws in and B passes. After trying, kick with A and adjust the ball by hitting A/B repeatedly and inputting direction. SELECT selects the menu, START determines settings and starts the match.
Super Rugby — About this game
"Super Rugby" is a Famicom sports game that combines team building and competition. By allocating points to running ability, tackling, stamina, passing power, kicking power, and technique, you can create teams with different strengths. Each time they win in a league match, they improve their abilities and challenge the strongest team after defeating five teams. In training, you can test the effect by changing the distribution, and in VS, two people can compete. In the game, players move forward with passes and kicks, and on defense they switch players and make tackles. The game follows the scoring rules of this game: 4 points for a try and 2 points for a goal after a try.
