How to Play Surf's Up
Quick start
Choose a penguin and enter an available championship race. Learn the corners and jump points first. When airborne, tap a short trick sequence and land cleanly before attempting longer combinations.
Controls
Steer with the directional controls and use the displayed acceleration and item commands. After a ramp or waterspout launches you, tap the trick icons on the touch screen to chain moves. Return attention to steering before landing.
Surf's Up — About this game
Surf's Up turns the film’s surfing penguins into a lap-based racer on ocean and river courses. Dodge obstacles, collect weapons and use ramps or waterspouts to launch into the air. Trick icons then appear on the touch screen; chaining them improves the speed boost when you land. Championship races provide the main progression, while free-surf events offer time attacks and survival races. Learn a clean route before chasing longer trick sequences, because a good landing only helps if you stay on course.
