How to Play T.A.C. Heroes - Big Red One
Quick start
Choose a campaign battle and read its objective. Select a soldier, inspect action points and movement range, then move or attack a suitable target. Check remaining units and the map before ending the turn.
Controls
D-pad pans the camera; L/R cycle soldiers. A opens menus and executes, B cancels or backs out, Y ends the turn. Touching a soldier opens orders and touching a hex selects a move or attack; position the view before choosing an attack, since a touch can commit it.
T.A.C. Heroes - Big Red One — About this game
Command the Big Red One in World War II battles played on a hex grid. Each soldier spends action points on movement and orders, so moving into range must leave enough resources for the intended attack or support. Grenades affect an area, tactics trade mobility for bonuses, and equipment can heal or call support. Begin with a campaign battle, inspect its objective and the soldiers’ available actions, then move one unit into a useful position before ending the turn. Surviving soldiers can improve between battles, making a costly victory different from a clean one.
