How to Play Takeda Shingen
Quick start
Select new start with SELECT and start with START. You can select an order or number with the cross keys, confirm with A, and cancel with B. First, use SELECT to switch the display of national power and check the military strength and resources. In the early stages, you should balance military conscription and domestic affairs, and when your wealth decreases due to conscription, you may consider supporting farmers. Please note that resetting your password does not completely restore your funds and US dollars.
Controls
D-pad: Select commands, enter numerical values, adjust the bar to determine the number of people and amount. A: Command determination, password character input. B: Cancel the selected command. SELECT: Start/continue selection, switching national power screen. START: Start the game, pause on the battle screen.
Takeda Shingen — About this game
The Famicom version of ``Takeda Shingen'' is a strategy simulation where Shingen expands his power and takes on Uesugi Kenshin and Oda Nobunaga. In the first scenario, you aim to conquer 13 countries by managing your territory and sending troops. Continuing conscription will reduce the country's wealth, so we want to pay attention not only to military strength but also to domestic politics, such as rebuilding the country with aid to farmers. After that, the battle will proceed to Kawanakajima and then Nobunaga, and it will be important to decide where to direct your strong troops. A password is used to restart the service midway, but the system does not record the entire situation, including funds and rice. Enjoy the original Kokutori, which is different from the next work "Takeda Shingen 2" and the action game of the same name.
