How to Play Tales of the Tempest
Quick start
Start the story, learn movement and the first battle controls. Try changing lane and defending before chaining techniques. Check supplies before leaving a town and read cooking instructions when that activity opens.
Controls
Move with the D-pad and follow the displayed attack, technique, guard and lane-change commands. Select techniques and items through the touch interface as introduced. Cooking uses its own cutting or stirring gestures.

Travel with Caius and Rubia through a world divided by fear of beast-people. Real-time battles use three parallel lanes, so the distance to an enemy is only part of the decision: change lane to approach, avoid pressure or reach a better position. Choose attacks and techniques with the party’s condition in mind, using touch access to items when needed. Begin with the opening journey and the first combat lesson, then practise changing lanes before committing to a long attack. Between fights check equipment and supplies; cooking also brings short touch actions such as cutting and stirring.
