Tanigawa Kouji no Shougi Shinan III — About this game
``Koji Tanigawa's Shogi Instruction III'' is a shogi software for the Famicom that combines orthodox games and irregular rules. In the regular game, you can choose between CPU L1, L2, or a two-player match, and in the Meijin game, you will play a seventh match against Koji Tanigawa, and aim for the master position by winning 4 times first. Furthermore, it is equipped with ``scissors shogi'' where you pick up your opponent's pieces, ``slot shogi'' where you only move pieces of the type that appeared in the slot, and ``shogi review'' where you can play back the 6 games of the 46th Meijin Tournament with commentary from Tanigawa.
