Quick start
Press START on the title, select "START" and press START to confirm. Press A to read the conversation, and when the investigation begins, select a command using the up or down buttons and execute it with A. At the first park, go from "Ido" to "Kabukicho." After asking around and researching your surroundings, if you are stuck with only the displayed candidates, please check the other command columns on the left and right. Showing your business card to someone you're meeting for the first time can also be helpful. When interrupting, write down the four-digit password that is displayed when you click "Yes, stop", and enter it next time from "CONTINUE".
Controls
D-pad up and down: Select a command. Left/Right: Switch the command field. A: Command determination, message sending. If you hold down the button while displaying text, the display will be faster. B: Cancel the selected command. For the title, press START to open the selection screen, press SELECT to select "START/CONTINUE," and press START to confirm. For the password, select numbers with the top and bottom, select digits with the left and right, and confirm input with A. START/SELECT and Controller II are not used during the investigation.

This is the fourth work in the series, in which Jinguji begins to talk about the incident from a year ago after an encounter in Shinjuku Central Park. Jinguji searches for a painting stolen from a family, and his assistant Yoko Gion searches for the mother of a lost boy, Kenichi. The two characters' parts automatically switch depending on the story, and the background of events becomes clear through their interviews and investigations. Another feature is the contrast between scenes depicting the present and scenes from the past expressed in sepia tones. In addition to moving around and listening to what people have to say, you can also choose actions that suit the situation, such as inspecting your belongings and surroundings, and showing items to the other person. This is a book where you can thoroughly enjoy the conversation and story as you collect clues and decipher the relationships between the characters.
