Terao no Dosukoi Oozumou — About this game
``Terao's Dosukoi Sumo'' is a sumo game for the Famicom where you challenge yourself by using tsuppari, push, and memorized moves. In the ``Promotion Edition,'' choose Terao or a wrestler whose name has been registered, and aim to become a yokozuna from the 13th maegashira position. There are 15 attempts per place, and you will be ranked higher according to your performance, and you can learn techniques using experience points and assign them to the direction keys. ``Around Japan'' is an adventure in which Terao travels around the country to recover the stolen championship cup, which includes confrontations with sumo wrestlers, transportation using tools, and training in the mountains. In the ``competition edition,'' two wrestlers each choose a room and compete in a knockout match between four wrestlers each. During a fight, your stamina increases when you nail a technique, and decreases when you fail, so you want to attack by not only repeating techniques, but also by monitoring your positional relationship with your opponent and your stamina. For the Promotion Edition and the Around Japan Edition, passwords can be reset using a ``memory note.''
