How to Play Tetra Star: The Fighter
Quick start
After reading the opening story and entering the first page of New York, use the direction keys to move your aircraft and press B to shoot the zapper. Be careful not only of enemies coming from the front, but also of ground attack aircraft from the rear, and protect the building and nuclear power plant. You won't be able to use the sidearm from the beginning, so get used to basic shooting first. Once enabled by Omega, press SELECT to switch weapons and press A to fire. Check the number of bullets and pick up the corresponding memory capsule. After the game is over, you can continue playing by pressing START during the 10-second countdown, up to three times.
Controls
Directional keys: Move your aircraft. B: Standard laser zapper fire. SELECT: Switch the side arm to use. A: Selected sidearm fire. While selecting BIO, hold down A to charge, and release to fire. START: Pause during play, skip visual scenes, continue during countdown after game over.
Tetra Star: The Fighter — About this game
"Tetra Star" is a 3D shooting game for the Famicom in which the player fights off a sudden invasion of the Baal Empire, which they had a friendly relationship with, using special fighter aircraft. Shoot the enemies approaching from the back of the screen with the standard zapper, and use the sidearm as a secondary weapon depending on the situation. The sidearm has a WID that attacks a wide range, an AAM tracking missile, a NAP that attacks the ground, and a BIO that charges and fires, and can be refilled with bullets using the corresponding memory capsule. However, it cannot be used from the beginning, and the navigator robot Omega is required. In the first part, you not only have to defeat the enemy, but also protect New York buildings and nuclear power plants from bombers coming from behind. There are conversations and visual effects between scenes, and the story unfolds differently depending on your actions. It combines the exhilaration of shooting with the battle of being conscious of what you need to protect.
