How to Play Tetsudou Ou - Famicom Boardgame

Quick start

Press START, use the four-way controller and A to determine the number of humans and computers, and the termination conditions, and register their names. Let's start with the recommended value "Destination 7, Track 39". On your turn, first check your current location and destination on "Mapumiru", and if there is a route you can buy, buy it before playing roulette. After that, press A to spin the roulette wheel, press A again to stop it, and use the D-pad to advance to your destination. It will be easier to get tolls if you prioritize purchasing routes that are likely to be used by others.

Controls

Start with the title. Use the cross keys to move the cursor and pieces, and press the A button to make decisions, start/stop roulette, purchase routes, etc. To enter a name, select a letter with the cross keys, press A to enter it, press SELECT to move to the next person, and after inputting for everyone, press START to start. If you press A while moving, you can select "View map/Return to start/Stop here". Players 1 and 3 use controller I, and players 2 and 4 use controller II. On player 1's turn, press SELECT+LEFT on Controller I to proceed to partial payment.

Tetsudou Ou - Famicom Boardgame — About this game

``Railroad King'' is a board game in which 2 to 4 people and a computer travel around Europe's railway map and compete for the final total of cash and assets. If you advance only the number on the roulette wheel and purchase a national route with your mark on both ends of the city, you will receive a toll fee every time someone else passes through it. The situation changes greatly with rewards for arriving at the destination, various cards drawn at stations, horse racing, buying, selling and destroying routes, exchanging assets with other players, etc. When someone goes bankrupt or the set number of destinations achieved or the number of sold routes is reached, the money will be settled, and the player with the highest amount of cash plus the value of owned routes, city marks, and number of destinations completed becomes the Railway King.
