Choose START with Up or Down, then confirm with START or A. On the ship, select the only blinking landing point and press A to beam down to Cyberia. Rad begins with the laser sword: move left, enter the first doors, search side rooms for energy units, and continue toward the teleport machinery and computers. Those computers provide coordinates for later planets, so read every message. Press START to open the inventory, choose an item with Left or Right, then press START again and use it with B. Select the communicator when you need to return to the ship and restore life, though the planet restarts from its beginning.

D-pad: move left, right, up, or down; Up also enters doors and Down crouches. A: jump; hold Down+A to pass through certain obstacles or drop to a lower level. On the ship, use the D-pad to select a destination and A to travel or beam down. B: activate the selected weapon or object. START: pause and open the inventory; choose an object with Left/Right, then press START to resume with it selected. On menus, Up/Down selects START or CONTINUE and START or A confirms. Password entry uses the D-pad to position/select characters, A to enter each character, and START to submit. SELECT is unused.
