How to Play The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood
Quick start
Choose Story, keep the standard four-button layout and select a three-fighter team. Start by learning standing punches and kicks before attempting command moves: A is the safest heavy punch, while B and L provide faster light attacks. Build the power gauge, use B+R to roll through danger and call the next team member with L+B when a striker opening appears.
Controls
D-pad moves, crouches and jumps. Four-button mode: A heavy punch, B light punch, R heavy kick and L light kick. Double-tap Back to backdash; B+R plus a direction performs an emergency escape, B+R before landing break-falls, and L+B calls the striker. Throws use an attack beside the opponent; START pauses. Menus use D-pad/A/B.
