Quick start
Choose START from the Main Menu and Easy difficulty for a first game. Littlefoot and Petrie must find Cera, Spike and Ducky in the Mysterious Beyond and return everyone to the Great Valley. In the opening zone, explore carefully, collect treestars and use each dinosaur's special skill; hold R with the D-pad to look ahead before jumping.
Controls
Left/Right moves; hold L with Left/Right to run; A jumps, and Littlefoot or Cera can press A twice for a double-jump roll attack. B uses the basic attack; Littlefoot and Spike press B twice for a full tail swing, while Cera charges and smashes. Down ducks; Petrie uses Down+B to fly; R+D-pad looks around; START pauses and SELECT changes character.
