How to Play The Revenge of the Smurfs
Quick start
Choose English, start the story and select the first available forest section. Reach the end while collecting hidden stars and berries, jumping on enemies rather than trying a direct attack. Finish five stages to open the next world, then beat its boss and release the captive Smurf; rescued characters take over later sections with their own contextual ability. Each completed section supplies a five-digit password, so note it before leaving. Sarsaparilla leaves add lives and raspberries restore energy.
Controls
D-pad: walk, crouch, climb and navigate the stage/password menus. Use the Jump button shown by the game's opening instructions to clear gaps and land on enemies; later rescued Smurfs gain a contextual ability such as Jokey's explosive present. START pauses. No accessible GBA manual text reliably fixes Jump or the character action to A versus B, so those face-button assignments are not guessed from the SNES original or an emulator map.
