How to Play The Sum of All Fears
Quick start
Start a new mission at the title screen, read the briefing, choose the four-person team and begin FBI: Disable Security. The squad inserts on the roof of a seized television station in Charleston; enter, clear the terrorists, locate the third-floor maintenance room and operate the junction box to disable security. Use SELECT before blind corners to display nearby enemies on the heartbeat-sensor map, and use manual aim to inspect areas beyond the normal view. Keep the team together and reload before marked doors; mission two sends you back into the station to rescue the hostages.
Controls
The Control Pad moves the operative; hold L with the Control Pad to strafe. A fires and B reloads. Hold L and tap B for manual aim, move the reticle with the Control Pad, then fire with A. Hold R and press A to cycle kit items, or R+B to change the controlled team member. L+R opens doors, uses highlighted objects and operates the mission junction box. SELECT displays the heartbeat-sensor map and nearby enemies. START pauses the mission.
