thinkSMART - Chess for Kids — About this game
Learn chess through a school-club adventure before taking on a full board. Chess for Kids turns individual piece movements into cartoon mini-games with skating and BMX themes, then keeps past lessons in a diary. Choose a side, follow the first movement task and revisit its lesson when a piece’s route is unclear. A rook moves along ranks and files, while a knight jumps in an L shape; understanding that difference helps more than moving quickly. When ready, select a full match against the computer or another person and protect your king while looking for checkmate.
