How to Play Titan
Quick start
First, choose Original or Challenge. Use the cross button to move the MCU in 8 directions and adjust the position of the ball to break the blocks. Press A to slow down the MCU when fine alignment is required, and press B to slow down when the ball is too fast. SELECT switches the center of screen scrolling between the MCU and the ball, making it easier to follow the ball as it travels far away. There is one side that erases all targets for destruction, and another side that lets the ball come into contact with EXIT, so check the conditions at the start and proceed without letting the MCU or the ball get close to the death icon. Be sure to write down the 8-character password after clearing.
Controls
Controller I: Use the cross button to move the MCU in 8 directions. Decrease the MCU speed with A. Press B to reduce the speed of the Powerball. Switch the scroll center to MCU/ball with SELECT. Pose at START. While paused, use the cross button to look around the map, press A to delete the sound effect, and press B to restore the sound effect. On the password screen, use the cross to move the cursor, A to select the character, START to execute, B + cross to change the input position, and SELECT to cancel. Controller II A+B: Abandon current side and lose 1 aircraft.
Titan — About this game
``Titan'' is a maze-type block-breaking action game that uses a magnetic control unit (MCU) and a power ball at the same time. Unlike a regular paddle, the MCU can move in eight directions around the field and can change the path of the ball or push a moving block at the point of contact. The condition for each side is to eliminate all the scattered destruction targets or carry the ball to the EXIT block. If the MCU or the ball touches the dangerous death icon, you will lose your remaining lives. In the original mode with 80 stages, a password will be displayed for each stage cleared, and in the challenge mode, one or two players can take turns competing in a 10-minute time trial of 10 stages.
