Choose Exhibition and a wrestler, then read the match controls. Try a basic strike, approach for a grapple and tap its numbered sequence in order. Finish the bout before starting the longer campaign.
Controls
Use the displayed movement and attack buttons for ring actions. When a grapple sequence appears, tap the touch-screen numbers in ascending order as shown. Return to the ring controls after it ends and check the current hold or pin prompt.

The DS version mixes button actions with a touch-screen sequence when a hold is attempted: tapping the displayed numbers in order completes that part of the move. Exhibition provides a single bout before you commit to a longer campaign. Begin there, learn your attack’s reach and watch the opponent’s position, then try a grapple with the stylus ready. Check the current move’s instruction instead of repeating a grounded attack without learning how the hold works.
