How to Play Toki Tori
Quick start
Choose a tips language, then Play Game! and the first Forest Falls stage. Keep the default A: Jump, B: Action layout. Follow the descending route and collect all nine eggs. Select Eyes with SELECT, activate it with B and use the D-pad to look around before dropping to a lower area. Save the more elaborate tool combinations for the following puzzles.
Controls
With default controls, the D-pad moves Toki Tori; double-tap Left or Right to run. A jumps and confirms menus, B uses the selected tool and cancels menus. SELECT cycles tools, and START opens the pause menu. Activate Eyes with B to inspect the level using the D-pad. Options can swap A and B, so restore the default before following this layout.
Toki Tori — About this game
Bridge Builder, Telewarp and Freeze-O-Matic solve different obstacles; spending the last use too early can leave the route unfinished. The Eyes tool lets you inspect the surrounding level before committing to a descent. Study ladders, enemy paths and the position of the remaining eggs, then plan a complete circuit. This GBC version also lets you swap the jump and action buttons in Options, so check that setting first.
