From the title screen, open SELECT A GAME. Choose an existing save slot, or choose a new slot and enter a name. On SELECT MISSION, use Left/Right to browse unlocked missions, Up/Down to switch between Mission and Bonus maps when available, and A to begin. Start with Training: climb the ladder, jump and hang from pipes, crouch through the low passage, use the Sticky Camera to read the surveillance camera's sight cone, then practise the pistol, gas grenades, lockpicking, safe opening, and night/thermal vision. The first story mission, T'bilisi, asks you to get through the burning building, retrieve the documents, and find Blaustein's Black Box. Walk or crouch around guards and cameras; save the double-tap run for timed hazards and long jumps.

Menus: D-Pad moves the cursor, A confirms or starts a mission, and B returns to the previous menu. In a mission, Left/Right moves Sam (double-tap to run), Up interacts with med kits, safes, computers, doors, and ladders or stands up, and Down crouches or climbs down. A jumps; B strikes or uses the equipped weapon. L draws the pistol or chooses grenade-throw distance, then B fires/throws; SELECT switches quickly between the pistol and gas grenades. Hold R for the Sticky Camera and use the D-Pad to look around. START pauses and opens inventory/objectives. While crouched at an edge, press Down again to hang; use Left/Right to shimmy and Up to climb back. For safes, interact with Up, align wheels with L/R, and press Right to enter a pin.
