How to Play Tomb Raider
Quick start
Choose New Game and begin Temple A by going right to collect the small medipak with Down. Explore the lower ledges for supplies, then return right and cross the spike pit. Climb toward the first ladder and switch; A activates the switch that opens the blue door. Stand over the first save crystal and press Down when you reach it.
Controls
Left/Right walks; hold B to run. Up jumps vertically with guns holstered; B+Up jumps forward. B grabs ledges or bars—hold it to hang on. Down crouches or collects items. SELECT draws/holsters guns; A fires with guns drawn or uses objects when holstered. Up enters doors. Tap START for inventory; hold START plus a direction to look around.
Tomb Raider — About this game
Exploration depends on Lara’s full range of movements: running jumps, ledge grabs, ladders and overhead bars open paths through large levels. Keys, switches and pressure pads connect different parts of each area. Underwater passages require attention to air, while medipaks help conserve health. Silver crystals mark the places where the game lets you update its single save slot.
