Controls
Control Pad steers; B jumps, A performs air grabs, Y performs air flips and boosts on the ground, X grinds. Use L/R for turning slides and touch the available Special icon when its meter is ready.

Take skateboard tricks onto downhill courses where landing a move also builds the next burst of speed. Start with World Tour and read the current objective: a race, a distance grind and a score task do not ask for the same route. Watch the next corner before spending boost and use a clean straight to carry speed into the following section. Shortcuts can change the line, while jumps and rails provide ways to build trick chains. Jam Session gives familiar goal hunting and Free Skate leaves room to learn the course. The DS game uses directional and button controls with touch specials, so practise a reliable landing before trying to combine a long trick with a fast turn.
