Quick start
Choose Beginner Lessons, practise a clean jump-and-trick landing and then start Story or a Classic goal.
Controls
Hold/release B to ollie; in air direction+A grabs, direction+Y flips, X+direction grinds near a rail. Up then down starts a manual; L+left/right slides. Touch a Special skull when the meter is full.

Develop a skating route through Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC in the DS edition. Begin with Beginner Lessons, then use Story goals to shape your progress toward career challenges or a hardcore approach. A jump, grab, flip and grind form the basic vocabulary; manuals and a Bertslide help carry the line between obstacles. Hold a trick only when the landing leaves enough time, since a longer hold is useful only if the combo survives. Special meter growth unlocks three touch skulls for ground, air and grind specials. Classic mode provides separate score and challenge goals, while Free Skate lets you explore unlocked areas and rehearse a line before taking it into a task.
