How to Play Toon-Doku - Sudoku with Pictures!
Quick start
Choose an avatar and begin an available early solo puzzle. Identify the nine symbols in use, then compare a row, column and box to find a missing one. Drag it from the bank to the empty cell. Check another group before guessing; in boss rounds, read the separate distraction instructions when they appear.
Controls
Drag a symbol or number from the bank into the grid with the stylus. Tap an empty cell when using the marking system for notes. In a distraction battle, drag the symbol matching the launch-pad display to attack. Follow the in-game tutorial for optional button controls and other settings.
Toon-Doku - Sudoku with Pictures! — About this game
Fill each row, column and 3×3 box without repeating a symbol: the familiar Sudoku constraint remains even when the tiles show cartoons instead of digits. Choose an avatar, work through puzzle stages and unlock more images, with an editor offering space to create symbols of your own. Occasional boss rounds add a distraction system that covers sections of the grid and asks you to clear the obstruction. A number-symbol set is also available, so you can compare the picture presentation with conventional numeric Sudoku while following the same underlying logic.
