How to Play Top Gear Rally
Quick start
Choose Time Attack, Grassland and an available car; use automatic transmission while learning. Hold A to accelerate, tap Left/Right to guide the car and use B before difficult corners. Once you know the course, enter Championship and aim for the top three. Write down the password shown after a successful finish to retain your progress.
Controls
A accelerates; B brakes. Left/Right steers. With manual transmission, Up/Down changes gears. START pauses. The D-pad moves through menu choices and cars/courses; A confirms and B cancels. Begin with automatic transmission so you can focus on steering and braking.
Top Gear Rally — About this game
The first races offer Type-CO and Type-IP cars and three courses. Grassland is the gentlest place to learn steering before the gravel and tighter bends of Desert and Jungle. Championship rewards top-three finishes with passwords that preserve unlocked content. Time Attack is useful for comparing cars and finding cleaner lines. The original cartridge also includes rumble and a two-player cable-linked Vs. Battle mode.
