Top Gun: The Second Mission — About this game
Top Gun: The Second Mission puts you in an F-14 cockpit for air combat built around aiming and speed control. The main campaign sends you against submarines, bombers and other targets, with forest, lightning and laser hazards changing the challenge. Choose between three missile types before departure, use the cannon for sustained fire and wait for a lock before launching a missile. Returning to the carrier means lining up and matching the indicated landing speed to refuel and rearm. Separate modes offer duels against computer pilots and split-screen competition with a friend. NORMAL and REVERSE flight settings let you choose the vertical control response.
