How to Play Top Rider

Quick start

The dedicated controller tilts the vehicle left and right, and the accelerator input accelerates. Normally, when using the pad, enter A, B, right, down, left, up, right, B, A during the title on the 2P side, and use the left and right arrow keys to steer, A to accelerate, and B to decelerate. Don't go too fast in a straight line at first, and adjust the speed with B before the curve.

Controls

Dedicated air bike: Steering by tilting left and right, accelerating with the accelerator and decelerating with the brake. After activating the normal pad, the cross will be left and right: Steering, Up: Acceleration assist, Down: Deceleration assist, A: Accelerator, B: Brake. START: Race start/pause. SELECT: Mode and course selection.

Top Rider — About this game

``Top Rider'' is a Famicom bike racing game that uses a special inflatable air bike controller. It straddles the vehicle, shifts its weight from side to side for steering, and uses the accelerator and brakes to respond to corners and obstacles. Normal pad operations can also be enabled by entering commands on the title screen, so in compatible environments you can play by moving the vehicle using the direction buttons. The basic idea is to accelerate on straight lines and slow down before curves to avoid stalling due to contact.
