How to Play Amagon
Quick start
Press Start, move with Left/Right, jump with A, and fire the machine gun with B. Ammunition is limited, and B becomes a close-range gun swing when it reaches zero, so collect bullet items and avoid wasteful rapid fire. After obtaining Macho Max medicine, press Select whenever you want to transform. In Macho form, use the B-button uppercut as your main attack and Up+B for a much stronger beam that costs one health unit. Normal Jackson loses a life from a single hit, so consider saving the transformation for crowded sections or the boss at the end of a zone.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: move. Down: crouch. A: jump; jump height and aerial movement respond to button duration and horizontal input, and holding A on landing causes another bounce. B: fire the machine gun in normal form, swing the empty gun at zero ammo, or perform the Macho uppercut after transforming. Up+B: fire the penetrating Macho beam at a cost of one health unit. Select: transform when Macho Max medicine is available; choose a zone in Continue mode. Start: begin, pause, or resume.

Totsuzen! Macho Man is a side-scrolling Famicom action game about Jackson, whose plane crashes on Troppo Island among strange hostile creatures. In normal form he carries a machine gun with limited ammunition; after the bullets run out, the gun becomes a short-range club. Enemies can drop Macho Max medicine, which allows an optional transformation that converts score into health. Macho Man attacks with a powerful uppercut and can spend one health unit on a penetrating beam. The adventure covers six zones and twelve areas, rewarding players who learn enemy positions, master the unusual jump control, and save the transformation for dangerous stretches and bosses.
