Return to Mackenzie’s peculiar town for new cases linked by a longer mystery. The DS sequel keeps investigation on the lower screen and Mackenzie’s private thoughts above it. Begin the first case, question the people in the available locations and inspect objects before deciding which item may help. Strange incidents range from stolen coloured noodles to a missing voice, and a conversation or small object can trigger a change elsewhere. Revisit people after new information rather than expecting every puzzle to resolve in the first room. Use inventory objects in context and read the response when an attempt fails. Funghi can occasionally draw attention to nearby clues, but careful inspection and following the current dialogue remain your main tools.
