How to Play Touch the Dead
Quick start
Select Solo Play, then New Game, and practise firing and the drag-to-reload action in the opening level.
Controls
Tap the touch screen to fire, drag ammo from full clip to empty to reload, and rub horizontally for the crowbar. The directional pad changes weapons in right-handed mode; A/B/X/Y do so in left-handed mode. START pauses.
Touch the Dead — About this game
Shoot through Rob Steiner’s escape from a prison overrun by the undead. The DS action concentrates on aiming and managing reloads as the route advances, with some junctions chosen by shooting a direction picture. Start Solo Play and New Game; progress saves at the end of a level, and Missions replays cleared stages. Tap enemies to fire, but leave enough breathing room to drag ammunition from the full clip into the empty one when reloading. The pistol has unlimited reserve ammunition, while shotgun and submachine-gun supplies are limited. Breakable objects can hide extra ammunition or healing, and bosses show weak-point targets before attacking. Learn the reload gesture early instead of spending every moment tapping at approaching enemies.
