How to Play Touchdown Fever
Quick start
Choose players, match or tournament, a 5-, 10-, or 15-minute quarter length, and one of the twelve teams with A. In each huddle, use the D-pad to highlight a formation and press A to return to the field. On offense, move the ball carrier with the D-pad, tap Left/Right to shake free of tacklers, and press A or B to throw toward the matching receiver. On defense, use A or B at the formation to select the corresponding player, then pursue the ball carrier. Use Start before selecting the formation or offense to call a timeout. Do not move the controller after starting a punt or field goal.

Touchdown Fever — About this game
Touchdown Fever brings American football to the NES with twelve teams divided between East and West. Play a head-to-head match, face the computer in a tournament, or team up with a second player against the computer. Each down begins in a huddle where you choose formations such as long pass, short pass, quarterback sneak, backs, punt, or field goal. On offense, pass toward the designated A or B receiver or run the ball and fight through tackles; on defense, choose the A or B defender at the formation and move in for the stop. Quarter lengths can be set to 5, 10, or 15 minutes, with touchdowns, conversions, field goals, safeties, downs, and turnovers following football rules.
