How to Play Touhou Kenbun Roku
Quick start
At the title, use the four-way controller to match "START" and press the A button to start. If you want to return to the title during the opening, press the START button. When the adventure begins, understand the situation by ``see'', ``talk'', and ``investigate'', and search for the inn and Deobalt in the first town. Switch the command display with the B button, select an item with the four-way controller, and confirm with the A button. You can also try changing the person you control using ``Change Person.'' Make a note of the picture password at the end of the chapter, including the order, and enter it from the title "CONTINUE" when restarting.
Controls
Cross key: Move the cursor. A button: Select/confirm main command or subcommand. B button: Switch command display. START button: Cancels the selected main command. Once a subcommand is determined, it cannot be canceled. The START button during the opening returns you to the title screen. Do not use the SELECT button. ``People change'' is the exchange of Bunroku and Marco. To enter the password, place the cursor on the pattern you want to change, change the pattern using the up and down arrow keys, match all the patterns, and press the A button to confirm.
Touhou Kenbun Roku — About this game
"Tohoken Bunroku" is a command-selected adventure in which Bunroku Tohoken, a college student who admires the golden country of Zipangu, invents a time machine and travels with Marco Polo. While switching between the two main characters, you will talk to people, investigate the surroundings, and use the tools you have obtained to solve the cases in each chapter. The action is a two-step system in which you select the main command and then decide on the target and other subcommands, making it fun to read through the unusual conversations and developments. In the first town of Arkle, your goal is to find an inn, meet Deobald, and tell him about Khan's mission. A picture password is displayed at the end of each of the five chapters, and when you want to continue playing, you can restart from the beginning of the corresponding chapter. Even if you make the wrong choice and the game ends, the password you memorized will give you a clue to try again.
