How to Play Town & Country Surf Designs II: Thrilla's Surfari
Quick start
Press Start to skip or advance the story and begin with three lives. During normal skating and surfing, steer with the D-pad and press A to jump; B and Select are unused. Jump over solid hazards, land on moving creatures when safe, and collect diamonds, bananas, and coconuts. On waterfalls, only Left and Right work, so concentrate on steering around rocks. While riding a shark, use the D-pad to move, B to spurt forward, and A to throw. In skateboard boss fights, move Left/Right, jump with B, and throw with A. Finish a level with coconuts to play the shell game for extra lives.
Controls
Normal skate/surf: D-pad moves in four directions; A jumps; B and Select are unused; Start pauses or restarts. Waterfalls: only D-pad Left/Right works; Up, Down, and A do not. Shark riding: D-pad moves, B spurts forward, A throws, Start pauses/restarts. Skateboard boss fights: Left/Right moves, B jumps, A throws, Start pauses/restarts. Shell game: Left/Right chooses a shell and A or B confirms.

T&C II: Thrilla’s Surfari is a fast obstacle-course adventure that sends Thrilla Gorilla across Africa to rescue Barbi Bikini from Wazula and the volcano master Imu. Skate through jungles and deserts, surf rivers and lava, steer down rock-filled waterfalls, dive through the ocean, and even ride a shark. Moving wildlife can often be avoided or landed on, while pits, rocks, trees, and logs must be steered around or jumped. Seven stage bosses change the controls and require well-aimed coconuts or bananas. Diamonds grant temporary invincibility, bananas restore one energy unit, and collected coconuts unlock shell-game chances for extra lives after completing a level.
