How to Play Toy Story 2
Quick start
Press START at the title screen. For an easier start, open Options, set Skill to Easy and increase Lives. Return to the menu and choose Start with A. On safe ground, press B while still to practise a jump; while walking, the first B tap starts a run and another tap makes a running jump. Collect batteries and record passwords.
Controls
Left/right: move; down: crouch. A: fire the laser or an acquired arm attachment. B: jump from a standstill, begin running while walking, jump while running, or climb at a ledge. It also opens the wings at suitable launch points. START: pause.
Toy Story 2 — About this game
This handheld Toy Story 2 follows Buzz through a separate two-dimensional adventure built around jumping, running and using equipment. B handles several actions depending on movement and position, including climbing onto a ledge, while A fires the available arm weapon. Coins reward exploration, and collecting a level's full set earns an extra life. Battery pickups restore the power that movement and damage consume. The game uses passwords to return to later stages, so keep a record when you finish a section.
