How to Play Toy Story 3 - To The Rescue! Edition
Quick start
Start Story Mode, practise moving and double jumping, then use the next scene’s instructions before trying Playtime.
Controls
Story: Control Pad moves, B jumps twice for double jump, A lifts/drops, Y stomps or chops, X throws Woody’s hat or holds Buzz’s glide. Imaginary scenes use their displayed stylus prompts; Playtime taps select and place toys.

Guide Woody and Buzz through toy-sized hazards, then change pace in the DS game’s imagination challenges and Playtime defence. Story Mode combines platforming with carrying objects and character actions; its controls differ from the touch aiming and swipes used in imaginary scenes. In Playtime, place toy defenders on the mat and call its special friend when needed. Begin with Story Mode and practise a double jump before chasing stars or moving an object. Check the current mode’s instructions whenever the game changes scenes so a familiar button does not become the wrong action.
