How to Play TrackMania DS
Quick start
Choose a short practice race, complete a clean run and improve its time before trying Platform, Puzzle or the editor.
Controls
Steer with the Control Pad, accelerate with A and brake with B. Follow the displayed restart/checkpoint command when needed. In the editor use the stylus to drag track pieces into place.

Race the clock through loops, jumps and narrow track pieces, then build a course of your own. TrackMania DS rewards clean lines and repeat attempts; other cars act as ghosts rather than obstacles to ram. Race tests time, Platform asks for careful obstacle navigation and Puzzle connects track pieces into a route you must drive. Start with a short practice course and learn where braking keeps you on the road. The stylus belongs naturally in the editor, where you arrange blocks and test whether your planned route is actually drivable.
