How to Play Transformers Animated: The Game
Quick start
Choose New Game, move the first Autobot and practise L/R character switching when a device or blocked path needs another ability.
Controls
Platform: Control Pad moves, L/R or a character’s mini-shield changes Autobot. Touch targets for character attacks; Bumblebee uses B to jump and wall-jump, Bulkhead holds A to grip objects. Driving uses Control Pad lanes and form-change buttons or Autobot icon.

Switch Autobots to solve a route through Animated’s platform stages, then change forms during driving sections. Optimus can guide a thrown axe and grapple upward, Bumblebee powers devices and wall-jumps, while Bulkhead moves heavy objects and launches his wrecking ball. The useful character depends on the obstacle rather than simply who hits hardest. Begin a New Game and try switching as soon as the team reaches a blocked path. In driving scenes, lane changes and transformation replace the platform routine, so read that scene’s prompts before reacting.
