How to Play Transformers Autobots
Quick start
Start a new single-player story and create your recruit. Follow the opening systems and movement instructions, then scan an available vehicle when prompted. Use the touch-screen Convert button and practice driving in an open space. Head for the green radar marker to advance the story; try orange challenges after learning the controls. Change stored vehicle forms from Pause > Vehicle Form.
Controls
Robot: +Control Pad moves, Y shoots, A attacks and X grabs or throws objects; B jumps and L/R rotate the camera. Touch Convert to transform, Scan to add vehicle forms and Map for objectives. Select a scanned vehicle in Pause > Vehicle Form. Car: B accelerates, A handbrakes, R boosts and L brakes or reverses; steer with the +Control Pad.

The Autobot campaign puts your own Create-A-Bot beside Optimus Prime's allies in an open 3D world. Explore in robot or vehicle form, scan traffic to expand your alternate-form collection and follow the radar to story objectives. This side includes its own Arctic environment, with missions such as following a convoy and confronting enemy forces in the snow. Orange markers offer optional challenges that earn experience alongside combat and story progress. Leveling raises attributes and grants abilities, so exploration contributes to your recruit's development. Learn where to move, when to transform and how to keep the camera on an enemy before rushing into the next objective.
