How to Play Trog
Quick start
Choose Easy, Advanced, or Expert with Left/Right and A or B, then select Bloop or Spike. Move with the D-pad and press either A or B to punch. Collect every egg in your colour; only then will your home exit flash. Learn matching teleporter symbols before entering and use catapults carefully. Grab pineapples to eat Trogs, hot tamales to shoot fireballs with A or B, ice cubes to freeze them, flowers for speed, and horseshoes for protection. Player 2 can press Start after level selection to join. After losing all three lives, press Start within ten seconds to continue.
Controls
D-pad: move the Dino-Mite. A or B: punch; after collecting a hot tamale, either button shoots a fireball. Start: pause/resume, join from Controller 2 after level selection, or continue within ten seconds after the third life is lost. Level selection: Left/Right chooses Easy, Advanced, or Expert; A or B confirms. Initial entry: Up/Down cycles letters, Left/Right changes position, and A or B confirms.
Trog — About this game
Trog! is a maze-action game in which the Dino-Mites Bloop and Spike raid islands guarded by hungry one-eyed cavemen. Collect every egg that matches your dinosaur’s color, then reach the flashing home exit before the Trogs catch you. The islands add tar pits, cliffs, bottomless holes, fires, bone fences, labeled teleporters, catapults, and enemies that tunnel or bounce in spring shoes. A punch handles nearby Trogs, while pineapples turn you into a Trog-eating T-Rex, hot tamales enable fireballs, ice cubes freeze enemies, flowers boost speed, and horseshoes add a protective ring. A second player can join during play, turning the remaining eggs striped so either dinosaur can collect them.
