Play Tron 2.0: Killer App (Europe edition · English) Online

Press START on the title screen, choose Story Mode, select New Game in an empty save slot, then pick Tron's or Mercury's story. Tron's first level has you follow Bit, use the recharge station, avoid the red floor, jump the gaps, defeat the programs ahead and reach the teleporter to the tank grid. Mercury starts by heading left with Byte, recharging, clearing the bugs and their generator, breaking one glowing yellow barrier, then activating the platform leading to her first Light Cycle grid. Recharge stations stay active, so use them before advancing; equip collected Upgrade Chips from the pause menu when you need more energy, attack power, defence, targeting, jumping or security skill.

Menus: Control Pad Up/Down highlights an option, A selects, B returns and START leaves the title screen. On foot as Tron or Mercury, the Control Pad moves, A jumps and B attacks; hold B to target and press it again to recall the disc or rod. L blocks, while R plus a Control Pad direction strafes. Press A then L for Jump Impact. START pauses and its menu includes Equip Chips; SELECT opens the chip view. In the inventory, use the Control Pad to highlight a chip and A to equip it. Tank: Control Pad moves, hold A with Up/Down to aim vertically, B fires, L/R strafe left/right and START pauses. Recognizer: Control Pad moves, A raises altitude, A+Down drops faster, B fires, L/R strafe and START pauses. Light Cycle: Control Pad turns, A uses a power-up, B activates the equipped ability and START pauses; a countdown precedes resuming. L, R and SELECT have no Light Cycle action.
