Press START at the title screen. On a new file, enter the Shopping Mall first: the Arcade Parlor and Challenge Room remain locked until you buy game access. Spend some of your starting coins on a game such as Asteroid Mine, return to the Main Menu, open the Arcade Parlor, and select the game you purchased. On that game's title card, press START to read its Objective, Controls, and Hints, then press A on Play. Asteroid Mine begins with the job of mining asteroids for a deep-space colony while improving weapons and defenses. Learn one cabinet at a time, use its Help screen before the first attempt, and earn more coins, mastery, medals, and challenges before buying the rest of the twelve-game collection. Use Save Game from the Main Menu to retain purchases and statistics.

Main Menu and cabinet-selection screens: use the Control Pad to move the highlight, A to confirm or choose Play, and B to quit or return. On a selected game's title card, L and R cycle between purchased games, START opens that cabinet's Help, A starts it, and B returns. Each of the twelve arcade games has its own action layout; the manual explicitly directs players to the on-screen Objective, Controls, and Hints for the exact mapping, so consult that Help screen instead of assuming one universal A/B/L/R scheme. START is also the documented Help command on cabinet title screens. No unsupported universal gameplay action is assigned to SELECT.
