How to Play Ultimate Band
Quick start
Choose a new game and check handedness in settings. Enter a venue from the map, ask an audience member about preferences and learn one instrument before performing.
Controls
Default guitar chords use the D-pad with stylus strums or taps; left-handed mode uses A/B/X/Y instead. Tap drum targets in time. B cancels, START pauses; double-tap a map building to enter.

Visit a venue, talk to its audience and choose music or instruments they like to earn extra buzz. As fans warm to your performances, more places open across Rockopolis. Rhythm guitar combines a direction input with a swipe across the strings; bass and lead use individual string taps, while drums use timed pad and cymbal taps. Start by learning one part in the chosen handedness setting. Later the recording studio lets you record tracks and build songs with available loops, giving a different goal from following a performance chart.
