How to Play Ultimate Spider-Man
Quick start
Follow the first movement lesson, try a jump and web traversal and read the rescue prompt. On Venom's first section learn grabbing and feeding before his health runs down.
Controls
D-pad moves, B jumps, X punches, A kicks or lashes, Y uses webs or tendrils, L dodges as Spider-Man. Touch special moves and contextual tasks; Venom's touch grabbing/feeding follows its own prompts.
Ultimate Spider-Man — About this game
The DS side-scrolling adventure gives the two characters different tasks. Spider-Man swings, fights and rescues civilians, with touch interactions for obstacles and bombs. Venom uses tendrils to grab or traverse and must replenish the health his suit consumes. Begin by learning Spider-Man's jump and web movement before rushing into combat. When the story changes character, read the new touch prompt instead of repeating a web action. Saving a civilian or handling a bomb asks for attention to that task's indicator, not simply defeating every nearby enemy.
