How to Play Uno 52
Quick start
Press START at the title screen, choose Quick Play from the Main Menu, then set the human players, CPU players and difficulty, and game type before choosing a theme. For a first round, keep the default rules and try to discard every UNO card before the opponents while also building the strongest five-card poker hand you can. Match the discard pile by colour, number or symbol; after a successful discard, you may move a compatible card from your UNO hand into your poker hand. Press R before or immediately after playing your next-to-last card to call UNO. If the combined rules are unfamiliar, open Main Menu > Information before the match.
Controls
On menus, the Control Pad moves the highlight, A confirms, B goes back, R fast-forwards ticker text and START continues past the title screen. During play, Left/Right moves among cards in your hand, Up moves to the draw deck or Pass icon, and Down moves to the UNO hand. A confirms and B cancels. L pages cards backwards; R pages cards forwards and calls UNO. SELECT opens the Challenge Menu for calling out a missed UNO or challenging a Wild Draw Four. START pauses.
