How to Play Utsurun Desu: Kawauso Hawaii e Iku!!!
Quick start
Proceed through the starting screen with START, and at the first safe location, try moving left and right, jumping with A, and close-range attack with B. Use quick punches against normal enemies, and aim for stage B techniques only where the enemy is far away and has time to accumulate. Look at the small pattern on the screen, release B at the stage of the technique you want, and do not save until the final "rest". Press the button up when you enter the store, and head to Hawaii while checking out the tools and detours that are typical of the original.
Controls
Cross button left and right: Move. Down: Crouch/Hold a throwable item that can be picked up. Above: Look up/Enter the store. A: Jump. For objects that can be climbed, such as a cactus, press and hold A while entering the direction and top, then press A at the top and climb on top. B: Normal attack while standing/crouching. Hold down B: The pattern at the top of the screen changes, and depending on the stage you release it, a dance, flame, all-out attack, etc. will be activated. START: Pause/Resume.
Utsurun Desu: Kawauso Hawaii e Iku!!! — About this game
“It’s contagious. Otter Goes to Hawaii is a Famicom work that brings the otter and absurd characters from Tank Yoshida's four-panel manga into a side-scrolling action game. Proceed through the stages, overcome different obstacles such as enemies, pits, buildings, vehicles, etc., and defeat the final boss to move on. The basics are short-range punches and jumps, but if you hold B and release at the appropriate stage, you can perform dances, flames, full-screen attacks, and more. If you store it for too long, it will go into a dormant state and create a large cloud, so timing the release according to the distance from the enemy is the key to strategy.
